Description

These Grinch Oreo Truffles are merry, minty, and oh-so-chocolatey! With a soft Oreo center, creamy texture, and a festive green candy coating, they’re a whimsical addition to your holiday dessert lineup. Perfect for Christmas parties, kids’ baking days, or edible gifting, these no-bake truffles are as fun to make as they are to eat. Each bite is a reminder that even the Grinch’s heart can grow three sizes — especially with dessert this good!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 (14 oz) package Oreo cookies

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened

  • 12 oz green candy melts or white chocolate dyed with green food coloring

  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil (optional, for melting)

  • Red heart sprinkles for decoration

Instructions

  • Crush Oreos into fine crumbs using a food processor or zip bag and rolling pin.

  • In a large bowl, mix crushed Oreos with softened cream cheese until fully combined.

  • Roll mixture into 1-inch balls and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.

  • Freeze for 20–30 minutes until firm.

  • Melt green candy melts with coconut oil until smooth.

  • Dip each truffle into the melted coating using a fork; tap off excess.

  • Place on parchment paper and top each truffle with a red heart sprinkle.

  • Chill until set, then drizzle with any extra melted coating for texture (optional).

Notes

For a minty flavor, use mint Oreos or add ¼ teaspoon peppermint extract.

Store in the fridge for up to 1 week or freeze for up to 2 months.
